Our hopes and aspirations for the Trinity Centre

The Trinity Centre holds so much promise, our vision for the building is that it becomes a beacon of hope for those in need of support whether it be physically, financially or spiritually. It will be place where hope is restored and community can be birthed organically.

How we hope to use the rooms in the Trinity Centre

Training rooms are available to facilitate groups that will help to develop personal, social and attitudinal skills. We are also providing resources and training for other churches in the deanery who would like to improve engagement with their local communities.

Training Rooms

Multiple dedicated meeting spaces are available for local community groups to use. In particular, we will be prioritising groups that are geared towards helping those struggling with poverty, bereavement, and addiction. Local businesses are also be able to use the spaces and these will provide income to help sustain the project as we look to the future.

Dedicated Meeting Places

Communal Café Space

Trinity Café opened in Autumn 2023 and has been providing Cornish coffees, delicious lunches and hand made cakes ever since.

Grain Community (for 18-39s) utilises the café to engage with young adults by providing healthy activities such as open mic nights, curry & quiz evenings and board games events.

We also run Alpha in the café and centre, providing meals and a space to discuss the fundamentals of the Christian faith in a safe and welcoming environment.

A Hub for the Community

Above all else, our heart is that the Trinity Centre is a hub for us to reach the isolated and the downcast. We have a dedicated room for the charity CAP (Christians Against Poverty) to use to help those in debt. Our desire is for the Trinity Centre to be at the heart of the community, not only birthing new life into St Austell, but also providing for those most in need in our locale.
